"This agency does not handle claims. I am elderly and disabled. Several years ago I bought a policy and was told if anything happened they would walk me through the insurance claims process. My landlord recommends everybody that move into the apartments here to get apartment insurance specifically for Matt Bubb because they do business together. So when I lost all of the food in my refrigerator and then was denied having a refrigerator from my landlord for 3 1/2 months, They asked me for the receipt receipts for all of my saved up store food. I don’t think that people save their grocery receipts and shoe boxes anymore and when you’re elderly and disabled and not able to get around on your own, this would be impossible. I asked if they could send an adjuster to my apartment because I have water on my floor as it gets colder. I’m afraid the water will turn to ice meanwhile with my severe scoliosis. I get up every day at 5 AM to dry my floor and watch my furniture falling apart my computer getting rusty it’s bad.. I asked for an adjuster to be sent to my house and instead they canceled my policy, sent the police to my house saying that I used threatening an inappropriate behavior. All I did was respond to two of the 58 nonstop spam emails. The agency sent me when they decided that I didn’t deserve food.. I didn’t send them an initial email. I responded to two of their 58 emails. The police did not want to investigate my side. They closed the investigation put a police report on file for me.. I have only been to that agency three times once was to buy a policy and get some promises the second and third time I changed banks so I went to change my payment information. And the threat Was that I’m going to tell my neighbors and my friends if they are elderly or disabled if they don’t have a computer if they don’t know how to upload things then their policy is as good as nothing. It has zero value. They would not send an adjuster and then sent me a letter certified mail stating that I had threatening an inappropriate behavior In reality, I told the man how I felt told him that I would tell my friends and neighbors. There was nothing threatening or inappropriate about that that’s considered a review. Since I was paralyzed, I have been Fundraising on the phone and now after years of struggle, I’ve learned to walk again. Treating disabled and elderly people in this manner is a disgrace. I learned that they don’t do claims after. The police threatened to arrest me for inappropriate and threatening behavior. I’ve only been walking for six years, four years without leg, braces, and hand crutches. I have spent time in the ICU for mold poisoning. The police were not dispatched to my house. The police report appeared a few days later.. Their side is this matter was investigated, but they wouldn’t look at the evidence that I have. I am the one that was gas lighted . I think she sent the Police to cover his butt I guess they rely on taking money from the little people that don’t have anything because they know that people like me can’t afford a civil attorney to go after them with. The minute I tried to file that claim a lot of these spam emails were saying that I requested another insurance agent at another agency, which I did not, but they kept trying to shove that down my throat. The last letter I got was that my payment didn’t go through. They did not try to put my payment through. The money is in the bank. My last visit was to give them my updated bank information after switching banks.. They are not a good neighbor. It is 100% legal for me to say how I feel while we still have some free speech intact. Photos attached are rotten food and a wet floor After it rains my cement floor puddles. It is so bad here that my foot surgeon told me my foot did not heal, and she will not do another surgery until my floor gets fixed However, State Farm will not send an adjuster and canceled my policy. No adjuster"

"Julie, I want to clarify a few important points for anyone reading. As a State Farm agency, my office’s role is to help customers with their policies, explain coverage, and guide them through the claims process. However, claims decisions, approvals, and adjuster assignments are handled directly by State Farm’s claims department, not by me or my office. We are not allowed to override their requirements or their decisions. In this situation, the claims department requested documentation, such as receipts for the items claimed. Without those, how would they be able to issue a proper refund to you? Unfortunately, we cannot just blindly trust everyone. Without that documentation, they were unable to move forward. I understand how frustrating that could be, but those guidelines are set by State Farm, not my agency. My agency isn’t licensed in claims therefore we are just the “messenger”. Regarding the claim that we “tried to shut down your policy” or refused service because of age or disability, we would never cancel a policy or deny any customer assistance for any personal reason. Any policy changes or notices would only come from State Farm based on underwriting rules or missing required information, which was the case here. I also want to address the very serious accusation about involving law enforcement. At no point did I threaten you, nor did I request any officer to “do my bidding.” During a period of increasingly hostile and inappropriate messages directed toward my staff, I was advised to set clear boundaries to protect my employees. At no time did my office misuse law enforcement or ask for any special favor. My team and I genuinely care about every customer, including you. We always try to help within the rules we are given, and we remain available to assist with next steps if you are able to provide the documents State Farm requires. We value our community, and we take our responsibility to customers very seriously. We apologize you were unable to provide the proper documentation that was required of you. -Matthew"

"Worst Insurance Company I've had in over 30 years. Nothing but problems First time I pay for 2 policies In full and then find out my insurance has been canceled for no reason. Then I have to get 2 new policies Then they tell me. The Vin number isn't right and one of the trucks after I send them The registrations Then I take pictures of the vin same vin number So I have no insurance on one of my trucks. I find out Then I called the officer. Have to call him over and over. 3 weeks Then they told me I have to pay almost six hundred dollars more four mine insurance same policies I paid for and full."

"I’ve been a loyal State Farm customer since I started driving, and I’ve been with this particular agency for the past 10 years since moving to Connecticut. Unfortunately, over the last year, my experience has significantly deteriorated. When I moved to New York, I needed to open a new policy for my car. That policy began on February 20, and I’ve been trying to cancel the old one ever since. I’ve called, emailed, and texted multiple times—but the cancellation still hasn’t been processed. Each time I follow up, I’m given vague explanations and excuses, often blaming former staff members who are no longer with the agency. The turnover rate here seems to be alarmingly high, and the service has become increasingly unreliable. Most recently, I contacted the agency to add my son to my remaining policy. Again, no follow-up, no confirmation—nothing. This level of neglect and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I’m beyond frustrated and cannot wait to be completely done with this agency. I would not recommend them to anyone. I bet my rate will increase after this review."

"Ive had state farm for a few years. I've always had good customer service i may not understand some of their policies that are out of there control. But the past couple weeks I've been talking to a women named Catalina and she realy went above and beyond to get any information to help me the best she could she was absolutely wonderful. She gave me hope in customer service again that people are actually nice and care about people. Very thankful for that. I give her 10 starts."
